Most attacks have been concentrated on the giant oil corporations, destroying their drilling rigs and storage fields. MorTex oil is anxious to prevent any further terrorist raids and is looking for some contract help to guard their facilities. If you think you can protect their investments, go to your nearest MorTex Oil plant.

  1. Travel to the area:

    From Newbie bin - <4s, u, n, enter mirror 3>

  2. <2e, enter shack, search tools, get multimeter, out>
    Note: If you were unable to find the multimeter, an additional location for this item is in the same location as the next step.
  3. <3s, e, trailer, search drawer, get [item found], out>
    Note: Additional location for the wire cutters could also be inside the truck.
    Once inside the truck:
    <search seats, look at tools, search tools, get wire cutters>
  4. From the trailer - <w, climb tank, test green wire>
    Note: During this quest, the green wire was the wire with the high voltage, but check ALL other wires for high voltage since it changes from player to player.
  5. <cut [color from previous step] wire>
